The defending Stanley Cup Champion Los Angeles Kings continued to dip into the Soo Greyhounds talent pool as the NHL Draft continued on Saturday morning.

Everything Miller touches turns to gold.  Colin started his teenage years of hockey with the White Pines Wolverines of the Sault Ste Marie High School Hockey League, than on to a season with NOJHL Soo Thunderbirds where he signed as a free agent in September 2010 with his hometown Greyhounds.

Soo Greyhounds 19-year old defenseman Colin Miller was selected by the Kings with their 5th Round pick (151st overall).  Miller becomes the latest Hound, joining the likes of Jeff Carter, Jordan Nolan, Jacob Muzzin and Andrew Campbell with Kings/Hounds ties.

The Sault Ste. Marie product, recently completed his 2nd season with the Hounds.  The 6.01 right-shooting rearguard ended the 2011-12 OHL campaign with 8 goals and 20 assists and a +9 rating when helping provide leadership on the Hounds blueline.

Miller could be one of three overage players to return to the 2012/2013 roster with the Greyhounds.
