Credit, Where the Credit is Due

    The term Sault Sports is pretty straight forward. Sault in meaning Sault Ste. Marie and its surrounding areas and Sports in meaning any and all athletic contests. This ranges anything from the main stream sports like Hockey, Soccer, Baseball and Basketball to all other not as popular sports. Sports like Equestrian, Figure Skating, Curling, Marital Arts, and Lacrosse do not get the type of coverage it deserves. Even power sports like Dirt Biking, Auto Racing, and Fishing all need recognition. It is difficult to report on these events with smaller followings and more difficult to find the outstanding athletes. If you are reading this and you are a sports enthusiast, please find the time to submit a upcoming event or a athlete who deserves their story to be told. Thank You.
